Come visit the historic trolley square and enjoy its unique flavor of restaurants, boutique shops and services. Take in a movie or, one of the many every changing events going on in-and-around the square. Trolley Square Mall was sold recently to a developer named ScanlanKemperBard from Portland, Oregon. Local news stories last fall related a variety of changes proposed for the mall including plans to build condominiums on the site of the decaying West parking lot. We highly expect that the rebuilding will forever change the dynamics of the mall that many have come to know and love. The plans released thus far include retrofitting the mall with a huge glass dome over the former center court to bring more light inside the mall, and to remove many of the dark hallways and dead ends that made Trolley Square unique.
